The second short term student mobility of the ERASMUS+ Project “Conservation of food” was held in Slovakia on 25-29 the of March. Twelve students from Germany, Guadeloupe and Lithuania met Slovakian students in Demandice. All the students had a possibility to live in Slovakian families, to know the cultural aspects of the country and develop their English skills.

Three days were spent at Demandice school where students experimented fermenting milk and cabbages, and studying dried herbs.  Each team presented conservation experiments done at home. Students and their teachers visited Milk Factory in Levice, where they had a chance to get acquainted with the process of industrial fermentation of milk and to taste milk products.

Everyone enjoyed the trip to High Tatras where we made snowmen, visited the cave and had unforgettable walks in the mountains. On the last day of the meeting students made presentations about the week spent in Slovakia, followed by the goodbye party.
